Birthdays, Parties, Friends & a Puyallup visit.

Catch Up Part 2

At first I was worried about cutting out carbs for dinner, but I have found I like it loads better. I feel more refreshed at bedtime and more energized.  Thankful Loren decided to change his eating habits. It's been a good change for all of us!

Happy Birthday Mrs. Foley (Gracie's Kindergarten Teacher)

We adore Mrs. Foley and will miss having her as Gracie's Teacher next year

Employee Appreciate Day at Lowes Spring 2012

-Way to put a party on Loren!  This was so much fun.
Tons of Food and Fun.

And, a little dancing, even by our little shy guy

The Wolf Pack guys came for a weekend visit.

We hiked The Ridge, they played baseball, went to a baseball game, had ice cream and just enjoyed each others company.  It was a great unexpected weekend that reminded me how important great friends are.  They are had to come by and need to be cared for greatly when you have them.  Love you guys.

At the top of the Ridge.  2,000 feet up.

Grace at the baseball game with Andy.

breakfast silliness

Colin teaching Grace how to hit a ball. Girl hit it almost every single time.

A little soccer fun at the park

Ms. Sporty who's never been on a sports team.  Think we need to change that.

And, doggy play time

Being Patriotic

A Special Puyallup Birthday Trip
to celebrate a very special birthday

Birthday Dinner for Gracie T.

Best friends being silly as always

Thankful we were asked to be included in this special family dinner

Saturday morning I got to visit with some friends at the Farmers Market,
Melissa & Libby!

I got to take the kids to the park while Jen finished working on party stuff.  We had a blast.

Jen working really hard on her cave.

Rock Cave to mine in all ready for the party

amethyst

The most amazing birthday party ever.  Jen did such a great job on the cave.  Took 3 days.

Do you see all the hidden amethysts?

The super dooper cake she made herself

Yep, Jen's pretty spectacular

Every kid got a fanny pack to hold their rocks as they collected them through out the party

All ready

Researching rocks.  One of Gracie's favorite things.  She wants to be a geologist/ paleontologist when she grows up

Jen did a creative lesson on the different layers of the earth and taught the kids how rocks are formed

Digging for rocks

Ready to mine

It was pitch black in there. They had to use their hand lamp to find an amethyst

Cracking open Geodes

The inside of the cake...all the layers of the earth.
Such a fab party.

Thanks for letting me catch up on the last few months.  Now back on track.  Up next: My mom's trip.
